The Dénia town hall approved definitively, with the support of Center Unificat and Party, the municipal budgets of 2014, which amount to 46.319.306,14 euros and which represent 1,83% compared to last year.
After its publication, three allegations were presented by the PSOE, the union and a private company, all of them dismissed for various reasons.
The plenum also approved the modification of the financial terms of the loans currently in active session for the council to deal with commercial debt in times of crisis.
According to current legislation, and with the aim of reducing delinquency and entering normal parameters, municipalities are required to have a shortfall in the repayment of loans requested, so Dénia is required to allocate 700.000 euros in full each year of commercial debt.
As explained by the Councilor for Finance, Vicente Chelet, "The city needs a series of public investments, but for this we have to meet a series of parameters" which comply with this modification. This point was supported, not without reluctance of all parties except the Bloc, who preferred absternerse.
The last item on the agenda dealt with the execution of the pipeline Plana court of law.
This ruling obliges the city council to carry with the 650.000 euros the cost of the transfer of a pipe of 850 meters that in 2007 was installed in the area of the Plana d'Elies crossing several properties without the authorization of its owners.
Councilwoman planning, Pepa FontHe explained that ratified an agreement council water in which the court order to make the transfer of the pipe, and they wanted to add to the file a petition of the plaintiffs in the stay of execution in order to reach an agreement is abided with them at the time of execution of the sentence.
Following this agreement, if finally reach the courts, Dénia has a period of up to three years to comply with the ruling or reach an agreement with the owners.
