The municipal group BLOC-Compromís in Dénia it will present a motion to the next ordinary plenary session in which it will request a moratorium on the payment of the public debt, stop paying to negotiate the conditions and audit its legitimacy.
Nationalist councilor Josep Crespo Explained that this is a motion prepared by the Ciutadian Audit Platform of the Deute of the Valencià Country and that was already presented both in the Congress and in Les Corts.
In Dénia, the municipality maintains a debt of around 8 million euros with suppliers and Crespo denounces that «la única salida son los recortes sociales y no se dan cuenta de que esa no es la solución». The councilman explained that the intention of this motion is to rescue the citizenship and not the banks.
