Pepa Font: «The hoteliers ask us for more facilities in the licenses for occupation of public roads»

May 05 from 2023 - 15: 58

El Party de Dénia has met with businessmen and hoteliers from the Marina Alta to know, first hand, what their concerns are. Present during this meeting were the candidate for Mayor for the Popular Party, Pepa Font, the councilor José Antonio Cristóbal, the deputy Manuel Pérez Fenoll, the president of the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta (AEHTMA), Cristina Sellés, the general secretary of the association, Reme Cerdá, as well as businessmen and hoteliers from the region.

Among the concerns of this sector, the need to implement licenses that facilitate the occupation of public roads has been highlighted, as well as allowing complementary activities in establishments, such as music, for example. Another of the great anxieties of businessmen and hoteliers in the region is the new Coastal Law, which adds to the concerns of the residents of the area, as well as the issue of parking lots.

For his part, the deputy Manuel Pérez Fenoll has indicated that all these concerns and problems that businessmen and hoteliers in the Marina Alta have are due to an “incapacity of the current government that has to change. But also by the Generalitat Valenciana».

Pepa Font has been grateful to hold this meeting "with such an important sector" as the hotel industry in Dénia, and has promised to "collaborate with all the concerns that businessmen and hoteliers in the Marina Alta region have ».

You have to vote for Pepa Font, as long as he promises to make a bus line feasible with Dénia, solve the Les Marines promenade, from Punta Raset and above all he promises to solve the problem of squatters

    • Luis says:

Now I understand you... you're in the campaign and sometimes you piss out of the pot. How to listen to you. The squatters can only be solved by changing the law that protects them and that is done and voted on in the Congress of Deputies, so don't sell that any mayor can solve it. I wish they could.

  2. Joan Verdú says:

Say yes, Pepa, say yes. Fuck the people. Cranes, bars and cars. Denidorm!
That awful. It's a good thing that not even those of your party are going to vote for you,

  3. Luis says:

More licences? If they are already occupying all the sidewalks and streets. And on top of that they want to play music? That they want to transform Denia into a fair full of bars with loud, cheap and strident music?

  4. July says:

The truth is that they pass; there are times when you can't walk; the street for the bars… what a blast

  5. Wasp says:

What a great idea Mr Font, music in the premises with terrace. And the Neighbors?? Shall we put up with the music or close our windows? What should be regulated are the terraces, quantity does not mean quality. I recognize that it is a very important sector but they have to live with the neighbors and it should not be worth everything for the pasta.
