Opinion Adolfo Utor: «Taxi drivers, municipal and MontgoRock»

August 10 from 2015 - 00: 00

Curious city ours. The other day I met the famous Dénia trenet driver and opinion leader on social networks, Paco Raskasa; I on my motorcycle and he on his train, parked at the stop. I asked him why his belligerence against the idea of establishing the bus station in Baleària Port, and the man, as comfortable as in his television performances, more or less answered me: "I against Baleària I do not have anything, but you have the taxi drivers happy: for them the careers of the passengers between the bus station and the maritime one are very important ". He added that the solar boat The Panseta also negatively affects their professional interests, and finished commenting that city are also burning, as new public officials require them to sort traffic in the harbor entrance to prevent collapse vehicles Illegally parked as every summer. man, as usually done in the networks sent to your liking.

I respect their opinions, which many citizens surely share, but I wonder, if the assertions of the local leader are true, are the union interests of taxi drivers and Local Police that govern our city? It is true that their opinions are legitimate and respectable, and fortunately they can express them freely through social networks, publicly or anonymously. But it is also true that their interests do not have to coincide with the general interests or with the legitimate interests of other unions.

Who defends the interests of the tens of thousands of people who use La Panseta every year? And of the hundreds of thousands of passengers that spend and consume each year in Dénia on the way to the Balearic Islands?

I want to break a lance in favor of the Legion of passengers who daily use the Third and dangerous bus station in Denia, moving under the sun, laden with suitcases, to La Panseta to shorten his ordeal to maritime station. They are passing and not repaired in our local social networks.

And I want to take up the cudgels on behalf of the company I chair and whose success largely lies perhaps in the interest we provide to our customers, hundreds of thousands of people each year pass through our beloved Dénia. We plan to stop spacious, modern, secure buses to 14 buses, with their platforms, parking and services and with the noble aim of providing an intermodal station to our city and facilitate the transit of passengers. In any case we intend to harm or taxi drivers or municipal. The same approach applies to the free solar boat Panseta. In both cases the shipping company uses private economic resources without asking for any compensation or citizenship or passengers. The question is, are the particular interests of unions which should prevail over the general interest? I do not want to qualify or quantify the general interest, but someone with authority and leadership should resolving it and draw from paralysis to this city.

Local Police, bottles and MontgoRock perhaps speak another time, or not. From here my heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the ruined and courageous promoter of the event frustrated, José Antonio Serrano.

    Totally agree with Botafuegos.
In Denia are always these disgusting tigejos that belong to all branches whether political, commercial or business and also the odd believing peon of what they say their bosses, who will oppose and protest everything and if it is still given they do it with more hard, dirty envy that they can not and do not know how to do it, but I hope that these guys have their days counted just as they are falling almost all the corrupt ones will also fall.
Ahead with healthy and courageous progress is to displace these useless forever.

  2. Botafuegos says:

Gentlemen of Denia, you should travel more. If the bus station were located in the Balearía terminal, do you think that the taxi drivers would be left without work or, rather, would they have even more work? I don't have a car and if I thought about taking the bus in Balearía, I have a clear idea that I would go there by taxi. Like me, many other neighbors. And like me, millions of people do this every day in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and other large cities, who are used to using public and private transport to get around and not just a few hundred meters. The village mentality of the last century, very accentuated in certain unions such as merchants, is ruining the lives of many. Gentlemen, there are 10.000 registered residents of this town who have had to leave here due to the crisis in recent years. That's what the local guilds should be concerned about. Merchants who have boycotted the construction of the commercial center in Denia and the opening and development of many other businesses, for making their profit prevail and "expelling" many families from the town for being unemployed. Clumsy politicians who do not agree to carry out a general urban planning plan that provides the municipality with the necessary accesses and roads. Denia does not deserve those policies, nor more obstacles. Thank you Mr. Utor for not giving up and believing in your people.

I totally agree with you Utor. It was time for a company to do something for this city and thanks to the investment of this and other companies have seen the potential of our city are the ones that are pulling the wagon and go back to look to the future with some joy.

There have always been in this city that black hand that wants to stop everything rushing but I think that Balearia and some new entrepreneurs does not make a dent,

Forward Adolfo and company, thank you for making city.

  4. Joan says:

I agree with Lorenzo, a bus stop in a port not block me. In my view you should be already seeing PGOU planning and setting the bus station somewhere between La Xara and Denia, on Avenida roundabouts. The bus station in the port generates a bottleneck for large vehicle traffic.

  5. Eva says:

I understand what the president and I share Balearia, we can not stop the development of an entire city for the benefit of a few, it must prevail the general interest. To tell the residents of the bus station now how badly they spend summer with buses running the air conditioning and all the noise and pollution have in that place which is also made a sentence of old and dirty few people think of them and they are our neighbors. Today transportation tend to clump together to coordinate better: a person who arrived with a ship Balearia and would like to spend the day in Valencia or Barcelona could enjoy a schedule coordination between Balearia and Alsa and catch the bus to 10 minutes without disturbing neighbors, this is what you need to think I think. And if access to the port are bad what should be done is improving, I think that also comes in the General Plan and is in the process of being studied and approved.

  6. Lorenzo says:

I can not dwell in a razonada.- answer but just stop at beneficiia solely to your company Maritime Station, even having to pay to park to pick up some familiar.- is far from the city, and suffer the disadvantages of Denia increased circulation without compensation for it, only for company.-
