Dénia City Council is working these days on the installation of vertical signaling for pedestrian crossings that will be powered by sunlight and that will incorporate Led technology. These works are being carried out in the El Raset area. During the works, the Local Police of Dénia regulates the traffic since it is necessary to cut the lane closest to the median, where the new signs will be installed.
Today, Friday and next Monday, work is being done on the placement of the signs so that, when the solar panels arrive that will make them work, they can be installed immediately. The intention of the consistory is to be in operation in the face of the large influx of visitors expected this summer.
Also, soon we will proceed to the installation of a light vertical signal pedestrian crossing in front of the premises of the Artistic Agrupació Musical de Dénia, on the street Manuel Lattur, given the large number of children that occurs in the area every afternoon.
