The Dianense commission this year won first prize in the special section failures of 2017, and therefore takes the pennant of the best failure of Dénia, it will also be recognized by the Generalitat Valenciana. This was announced by the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, during his visit to the Artisan Guild of Fallas Artists.
Specifically, the winner fails to receive Dénia 1.000 euros. With this aid, the Consell aims "Promote and give the projection they deserve to parties that have absolutely authentic and very special characteristics".
The government rewards Puig and all municipalities that plant failures in Valencia. In the province of Valencia are 114, while in the provinces of Alicante and Castellón are six municipalities in each.
