The socialist group in the City of Dénia has announced the presentation of a motion, in the next regular plenary session, to reinforce and continue to value the measures contained in the State Pact on gender violence.
As they explain in a statement, «la moción tiene como objetivo rechazar la adopción de cualquier tipo de acuerdo, explícito o implícito, con formaciones que plantean la supresión o reducción de las medidas de protección de las mujeres, dando así cobertura a políticas irresponsables que conllevan un altísimo riesgo de agravar el problema».
In the motion, the corporation will repulse all manifestations of gender violence, its commitment to the victims and will declare zero tolerance with the abusers. The motion seeks to reject any political position that advocates the elimination or reduction of measures to protect women against sexist violence, as well as the social drama and the consequences it has for the victims.
