The Socialists, tired of paralysis of the city Dianense

20 July 2012 - 00: 05

The socialist mayor, Cristina Morera y Óscar Mengual, they criticized, from the Plenary Hall of the Dianense consistory, the situation of paralysis in which the city of Dénia has been immersed since 2011. At the same time, they verbally denounced aspects about the care and cleaning of various places of tourist importance.

First, Mengual welcomed the 80% occupancy in the first half of July announced Pepa Font. On this subject, he added that, if we want to continue with these data, much more care should be taken of the service given to tourists. The example he gave was the cleaning of the toilets in the Castle, as well as the lack of printed itineraries that reflect the historical reference points of the place or the aspect of abandonment given by the excavators, located next to the stairs of the Palau del Governador since the cafeteria works stopped. Mengual also dealt with other aspects such as the paralysis in the rehabilitation of the Les Roques neighborhood or the passivity of the Local Government team that continues without requesting the cultural 1% that the Ministry of Public Works contributes for the rehabilitation of cultural heritage areas.

On the other hand, Cristina Morera expressed the idea that urban paralysis makes citizens even more notice the cuts of the Central Government and that this situation does not benefit the people. He urged the mayor and the various local government councilors to listen more to the contributions than the PSPV-PSOE , that "leave the office and work to fix the thing." He added that this would prevent successive losses of subsidies and would solve many of the problems that are now considered impossible.
