The team of canoeists of Real Club Nautico Denia continues to win medals and doing good performances in the Autonomous League of Sea Kayak. The team of athletes traveled to Castellón to perform the 5ª regional test of the Valencian community and last of the tests before the regional championship.

The veteran, Juan Carlos Pérez Nadal, was the best in the traditional veteran category k1, after making an exemplary tour of a distance of 10.000 meters. The k2 made up of the paddlers, Maik Dimitrov and Paulino Llobell he also got the first place in the senior category after completing a distance of 15.000 meters.

The k2 of the cadets Miguel Louwagie and Marcos Ortega, after performing the test leading the peloton throughout the course, scored a deserved victory. The fourth gold was won by the infant k2 formed by Miguel Abarca and Pablo Orgiler, after a coastal route of a distance of 3.000 meters.

The Dianense cadet Toni Gil managed to get the bronze medal in one of the strongest categories of the season and Joan Moncho made a fantastic test among the young paddlers that finally left him in fourth position. Another dianenses paddler, Niki Radoslavov, finished sixth in the k1 children's category after committing an error in the course that left him out of the podium.

A very hot day and a breeze nonexistent, made difficult the test and the performance of all the participants, especially in the tests with out of the sea, which made the test a hard summer effort. The dianenses paddlers will continue training for the next test that will be the regional championship of Surfsky.
