Dianenses young people between 14 and 30 years old will already be able to process the application for the Youth Card at the Youth offices (Ronda Muralles, 42) from Monday, November 14 thanks to the agreement signed by the Youth Area of the Dénia City Council and the IVAJ (Valencià Institute for Youth).
Until now, in Dénia it was not possible to process the Youth Card, unlike other accreditations such as hostel, international student or international teacher. As of Monday, Dianenses young people will not have to travel to Ondara to carry out the procedures. This card has a series of advantages for young people to access leisure activities, training and free time, in addition to facilitating the use of transport and intercommunication, with great discounts. Young people will be able to enjoy discounts, for example, on the Valencia metro transport, on Renfe train trips or on tickets to public museums.
How is it processed?
It must be taken into account that the processing involves an expense of 7 euros (70 for large families, single parents and people with disabilities), and that the accreditation expires every two years, so it will have to be renewed following the same process.
The processing and issuance of the Youth Card can be done in two ways:
- Online: electronically through la web, without the need to present any documentation or identify yourself with a certificate. In this way, the card is obtained immediately in digital format. If you also want to obtain it in physical format, the collection point where you want to go to pick it up is stated, being able to choose the Dénia youth information point for it.
- In person: From now on it can be requested at the Dénia Youth office. You call by phone at 966423700 (office hours from Monday to Friday from 09:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. and Monday to Thursday from 16:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.), and make an appointment to process and collect the Youth Card (physically) at a the same day.
