The boats «Optimumm» and «Selene III» winners of the test of the Spring Shipowners Trophy

The Spring Ownership Trophy began on Saturday with the first trophy event. The race committee gave the start at 12.08 hours at the height of the Cova Tallà to a total distance of 9 miles that passed through the Isle of L'Escull de Jávea.

The "Optimumm" boat by Larry Fluder and Mauricio Costanzo del Real Club Nautico Denia has been the winning boat of Class A, followed by "Escualo Tres" by Carla Sentí Naya, also from the Dianense club, took second and "Picabus" from owner Bernardo Gamón Peris from Club Náutico Jávea completed the names of the A classification winners.

Saturday's test also had its Class B winners, the Dianense club once again starred in the classification with the boat "Selene III" by Antonio Almeria. The second of the B has been occupied by the boat of Jávea "Pinta Tres" by Ricardo Ramírez ‐ Montesinos and the third was for "Merak Tres" by Estanislao Riera Llorca also of the Royal Dénia Yacht Club.

Trophy organized by the Real Club Nautico Denia and the Yacht Club of Jávea with the permission of the Sailing Federation of Valencia will have three more to complete the competition dates will take place next 28 March 18 April 30 of may.
