The boats "Maverta"Patronized by Pedro Gil of the Royal Nautical Club Torrevieja in ORC 1 and"Kalamandurrio", By Pablo Nogueroles, of the Villajoyosa Yacht Club in ORC 2, are the new regional cruise champions after the event played in the waters of Denia.
The first day of the competition was very exciting and all the participants enjoyed a great race. All this changed on the second day of racing, the test was in the air until about 14 hours, the Race Committee found that a light breeze was blowing that reached the 7 intensity knots, allowed the exit to the first of the two races scheduled. But once the test was launched and when they were already ORN 1 arriving at the leeward door and the rest of classes did it to the windward pass, 1 beacon, the wind abated.
Before this circumstance the Committee of Regattas chose to annul the test. After several attempts and over 15: 30 hours before the impossibility of being able to exit and close the test, made the decision to send the fleet to land and terminate the championship.
El "Trofeo Generalitat Valenciana", went to the boat "Maverta"In ORC 1 and for the"Kalamandurrio"In ORC 2. He "Trophy Real Club Nautico Denia" was for the boat "Lontano"In ORC 3 and the "Trophy Federation of Sailing of the Valencian Community" was for the "Ardora III"In ORC 4.
In the presentation of the trophies that took place in the facilities of the Real Club Nautical Dénia participated, Josep Miquel Moya, Director General of Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana.
