Compromís per Dénia ha conmemorado el 9 d’Octubre en un acto celebrado en la plaza Jaume I, como es tradición cada año. En esta ocasión, ante un grupo de militantes y simpatizantes, el evento contó con la participación de María José García, Regional Secretary of Compromís, and the provincial deputy Ximo Perles, who offered speeches in which the values of Valencianism and the importance of defending Valencian culture and rights were highlighted.

María José García, en su discurso, enfatizó la necesidad de reivindicar el valencianismo y la política valencianista en un momento en el que persisten desafíos como la búsqueda de un financiamiento justo. García señaló que el 9 d’Octubre no debe simplificarse como un simple día festivo, sino como una oportunidad para recordar la historia y las luchas del pueblo valenciano.
