The jellyfish force to put the yellow flag in Les Rotes

21 June 2020 - 12: 51

The second day of the surveillance and first aid service of the beaches de Dénia coincides with the first Sunday of high temperatures of the year. A great claim for residents and tourists who are already in our municipality wanting to take a bath.

However, today you have had to wish them to enjoy the coves of Les Rotes, where at 11:30 they have already announced that the maximum capacity allowed by the anti-COVID regulations had been reached. Apparently that will be the new normal, to get up early to get your safe space on one of the most beautiful beaches in the city.

But also, shortly after noon the bathers have met other visitors who, sometimes, do not respect the safety distance as much: the jellyfish. Apparently, the presence of a large number of jellyfish has forced the Red Cross post to raise the yellow flag to warn of their presence.
