November 25 from 2022 - 14: 52
  • HCB Denia opened its doors on July 7 and, after a few months of opening in phases, today the process has been completed with this inauguration

HCB Hospitals has celebrated this morning (Friday, November 25) the inauguration of its HCB Dénia Hospital, surrounded by political, social, educational and economic personalities from the Marina Alta, as well as the main representatives of Spanish private healthcare. The inauguration of HCB Dénia has also been attended by authorities, representatives of insurers and international collaborators.

HCB Dénia began its journey last July and, after a few months of opening in phases, it has completed the full start-up of the hospital with its Intensive Care Service (the only private hospital in the area with an ICU).

The General Director of HCB Hospitales, Dr. Ana Paz, has spoken of the responsibility adopted by the family hospital group, HCB Hospitales, to develop this project in Dénia "with our own effort, without investment groups or other help than that of our trusted bank It has been a total commitment to Dénia and to a project in which we firmly believe. We come to bring a new model of private healthcare to the Marina Alta based on our family values: warmth, personalization, the human side of Medicine and the highest standards of Quality and Safety”.

The General Director of HCB Hospitales, Dr. Ana Paz, has been accompanied by her family and part of the group's property and by her entire Management team.

Its Director of Institutional Relations and Managing Director of the HCB Dénia Hospital, Ana Vasbinder, has been in charge of opening the act given her personal connection with the region since "this is the land that I chose to live 30 years ago. And today I return with the immense commitment to take care of the patients of the Marina Alta with the highest quality standards and the best treatment”.

Next, Juan David Gómez, Manager of HCB Hospitales, has spoken about the magnitude of this project, HCB Dénia, which was born "in response to the desire to position ourselves in a scenario of concentration of private healthcare in large groups: on the one hand, to consolidate ourselves as a benchmark in the Marina Baixa and, on the other, to grow in the Marina Alta betting on differentiation through technology and Quality”.

The three directors of HCB Hospitales have agreed in their gratitude for the support received at such a special moment as the inauguration of a new private hospital and the collaborators who have made the development of the project possible. But a unifying element has stood out in all the interventions: the need for teamwork and having true professionals in order to successfully launch the new HCB Dénia Hospital.

HCB Dénia, the only hospital with an ICU between Valencia and Benidorm

The HCB Dénia Hospital put the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) into operation last October. In this way, at present the HCB Dénia Hospital can already attend to 100% of the patients and becomes a safer hospital that offers better possibilities of care and recovery to its patients.

24-hour emergency service

Since its opening, the new Denia hospital has an Emergency Service 24 hours every day of the year made up of a medical team with extensive experience, as well as nurses and assistants specialized in this field

HCB Hospitals

HCB Hospitales began its journey at the hands of the Paz Figueroa family at the time of Benidorm's tourist expansion, in 1986, serving the first tourists in the area with its first hospital, the Benidorm Clinic.

The needs were not those of a normal hospital; the human team had to attend to patients of different nationalities. This is how the HCB Model for foreign patients began to take shape.

This promising health care model was expanded to the main points of the Costa Blanca, creating the network of external medical centers of Hospital Clínica Benidorm: HCB Albir, HCB Moraira and HCB Calpe.

In 2022, HCB opens its second hospital, HCB Denia, and becomes the HCB Hospitales Group, a private family health group.

Dr. Carlos Paz's dream of expanding his own model of excellent health care becomes a reality thanks to his daughter, Dr. Ana Paz Brown, who takes over from the company in 2012 to expand and complete the project of her father with obtaining the most important international health quality seal in the world, the Joint Commission International, and the opening of a new hospital.

Gesundheitsversorgung darf hier in Spanien nicht immer mehr Privatisiert werden siehe auch die Protestbewegung in Madrid
