La Penya La Cata chooses "grilled octopus with parmentier" as the dish of the year 2017

Each year, the Penya Gastronómica La Cata chooses a product from the region that asks each restaurant that visits during the year (a total of six establishments) to include in the menu that its members will taste. This year, the product chosen was the octopus, and the best of the year was the grilled octopus with the restaurant's restaurant Venta la Posa La Xara.

The "Grilled octopus with parmentier" was the bet of the restaurant manager Juan Montaner that captivated the palates of the associates at the dinner organized by the partner Luis Silvestre, in the autumn of the 2017. This week the distinction was given to the Venta de Posa team, where the Penya La Cata again enjoyed the pairing of flavors of this dish.

In 2018, the product for which the Penya Gastronómica La Cata is committed is the raisin of the Marina Alta.
