The Generalitat once again extends the perimeter closure of the Valencian Community

November 20 from 2020 - 13: 28

The Generalitat has extended until December 9 the perimeter closure of the Valencian Community within the protection measures against COVID-19, as established by the decree of the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, published this Friday in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV).

In addition, it also extends the declaration of confinement of the municipalities of Elda and Petrer for a period of 14 calendar days, counted from 00.00:21 on this Saturday, November XNUMX.

The restriction of entrances and exits of people from the territory of the Valencian Community lasts from this noon, the time at which the current deadline ended, until 23.59:9 p.m. on Wednesday, December XNUMX.

In this way, until then it will not be possible to travel outside the Valencian Community or enter it, except for justified reasons, such as those related to work, studies and medical matters or to return to the place of usual residence or take care of dependents, among others.

As stated in the decree, "The current epidemiological situation advises to extend these measures, in order to continue curbing the infections that are occurring".

Measures are taken "Taking into account the global assessment of sanitary, epidemiological, social, economic and mobility indicators, and based on the reports of the Conselleria de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública".
