The Government starts talks with DKV to acquire its shareholding in Marina Health

The Secretary of Universal Sanitat i Public Health, Carmen Stack, by the Minister of Finance and Economic Model, Vicente Soler, held on Wednesday afternoon a meeting with the CEO of group health insurance DKV, Josep Santacreu and CEO DKV financier, Javier Cubria, at the headquarters of the Department of Health.

This is the first meeting between both parties to enter into negotiations with the company to explore the possibilities of acquiring the majority shareholding (65%) held by DKV in Marina Salud, the concessionary company for the management of the Dénia health department.

The objective set by the Consell de Ximo Puig is to be able to reach an agreement with DKV to acquire its shareholding package and, in this way, subject the Dénia health department to public control before the end of the concession on February 1, 2024.

Meeting with mayors of the region

Before the meeting held by the Minister with DKV, he received the mayors of Dénia in his office, Vicent Grimalt; Pedreguer, Sergi Ferrús; Pego, Enrique Moll; Councilwoman health of Dénia, Cristina Morera; in addition to the socialist deputy for Dénia Rosa Mustafá and two representatives of the Platform in Defense of Public Health of the Marina Alta.
