The gastronomy of Dénia conquers Rome and Amsterdam

The World Tap Day has allowed Dénia, through the Saborea España platform, in collaboration with Turespaña and the Spanish Tourist Offices abroad, to be present in two of the most important European capitals: Rome and Amsterdam.

Rome hosted one of the main events: a gastronomic tour of the most representative tapas of nine destinations that are part of the Saborea España network, among which was Dénia. The event, attended by 250 guests related to the world of tourism, gastronomy and the media, took place in the residence of the Spanish ambassador in Italy.

Elaborated the gastronomic proposals of the tasting the chefs Julia Schirweit and Óscar Domínguez, of the restaurant among Aromas Of Dénia, and cooks from A Coruña, Cambrils, Lanzarote, Logroño, Seville, Valencia, Valladolid and Zaragoza.

The event was attended by the Spanish ambassador to Italy, Jesús Manuel Gracia Aldaz, the Minister of Tourism and director of the Spanish Tourism Office (OET) in Rome, Carlos Hernández, the vice president of Taste Spain, Ana Redondo, FEHR Secretary General, Emilio Gallego, the Mayor of Denia, Vicent Grimalt, and the president of the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta (AEHTMA), Cristina Sellés, among others.

The same 15 of June, the Diana's chef Diana Cervera, of the restaurant La Seu Of Dénia, traveled to Amsterdam to carry out, among other activities, a masterclass or with a showcooking Before Dutch kitchen professionals.
