Els Magazinos wins the award for the company committed to people with disabilities granted by the Confederation of Hospitality of Spain.
These are the national Hospitality Awards which, on this occasion, have rewarded the work carried out by the CEE students Raquel Payá and Els Magazinos.
Among the initiatives that have influenced to award them this award is the Bar Inclou-me: Gastronomy and Sustainability with a social focus. A project with which it is intended to ccreate a bar, El Guiriguay, which will be run by Raquel Payá's students from the Adapted Hospitality Professional Training. The project already started last year with the hospitality internships of several students and continued with the hiring of one of them. This 2020-21 academic year we have continued to advance, carrying out a new innovative project, an adapted Dual Vocational Training with special education students, something that did not exist until now, through a school calendar with 18 master classes in the Magazinos to complement the classes school officials.
The awards will be presented on November 17 at the Caixa Forum in Madrid. Among the other winners in the different categories are Andoni Luis Aduriz, Antonio Garamendi, Dabiz Muñoz, Salamanca Group, Quebec Group, Community of Madrid, Pescanova, Repsol, Alexandre Franiti, etc.
