Foundation Baleària has organized for next Saturday 14 of May at the 20: 30 hours a solidarity concert by the Band of Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza) to raise funds that will go entirely to the social dining room of the association Stretch out your hand from Dénia. The concert will take place in the Jauja Port room and the tickets, at a price of 5 euros, can be purchased the same day of the concert at the box office.
This concert is part of the collaboration agreement established between the band and the foundation signed a few months ago and will allow the Dianense public to enjoy the show Tributes, in which the formation reviews the different musical styles of the 20th century such as jazz, blues, rock and pop, through songs known by relevant artists (such as Michael Jackson or Elvis Presley) combining the narration of a presenter, the music and the projections of images of the different singers that represent each musical style.
The Band of Sant Antoni de Portmany was born in 2007 and is currently formed by 35 musicians. In 2011 they premiered their project Tributes counting on Joan Amorós in the script and the presentation and voices of Chris Martos and Virginia Trujillo. Another work of the band is Music and histories, which they made in 2013.
