Taking advantage of the visit to V Boat Show Denia Josep Llobet, vice president of the Barcelona Provincial Council, members of Dénia Local Agenda 21 arranged a meeting with him and his team in which discussed various issues that involve very soon the two administrations.
One of the first topics discussed was the experience of the Provincial Council with the project Xarxa in xarxa, Based platform technology 2.0 wherein Dénia participates as an observer within the municipality Xarxa of ciutats i you pobles cap to sostenibilitat Catalan.
The International Day of Mountains was also studied, because after the success of the Dianense celebration, which led them to meet with members of the FAO in Rome, it was agreed to work together on the issue of 2012 considering more ambitious challenges.
Finally it was agreed that Dénia will host a conference on energy efficiency held at the end of the year for institutions and companies in which they will have the extensive experience of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
At the meeting they were present Vicente Chelet and Jesús Reina, councilman and technician 21 Local Agenda; Council of Tourism, Environment and Works and Services, Pepa Font, Juan Carlos Signes y Sisco Signes; Josep Llobet, vice president of the Barcelona Provincial Council and Deputy Chairman of Planning and Sustainability area; Rafael González, coordinator of the area, and Domènec Cucurull, manager of Environment.
