Friday November 11 the Paraula house de Baleària Port will host the "Day of Sport and Tourism", organized by the Fundació Baleària and Valencian Association of Gestors Esportius Profesionals. An activity aimed at professional sports and the tourism sector.
The beginning of the day will be a presentation by Ramón Llopis, (University of Valencia), which will focus on economic, tourism and urban impact of sporting events. Then, Nuria Montes, General secretary Hotel Business Association of Benidorm and the Costa Blanca, Will hold a talk on tourism and sport as dynamic agents of the economy of a territory.
In the afternoon session, Josep Vicent Mascarell will, director of RSC Balearia, who will speak of tourism in relation to corporate social responsibility. The last presentation will be in charge of Carles Cambrils, deputy director of the Valencia Tourism FoundationWhich will discuss trends and opportunities offered by the fields of tourism and sport.
The day will close with a round table where they will expose their experiences in sports tourism representatives of the active tourism company Tururac (Dénia), the Hospitality and Tourism Association of the Marina Alta, Royal Yacht Club of Denia, Mitja Marató de Formentera and Master of Tourism and Sports of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
