The remodeling works in Jesús Pobre have ended this week with the opening to traffic of Lluna Street, included in the remodeling works of the town square that ended three weeks ago.
The executed project has involved the complete remodeling of the Lluna street with the replacement of pipes, demolition of asphalt and sidewalks, and the result of the consultation of citizen participation, the elimination of parking in cordon, with extension of sidewalks to 1, 5 meters wide and unique platform in printed concrete, public lighting, as well as the accesses of functional diversity, and all this following the same identity and finishes as the transformation carried out in the streets adjacent to the Plaza de la Iglesia in 2013.
In the case of Lluna Street, it includes the installation of rows of bollards in corten steel finish, which will be the model to be used in the local term to avoid undue parking.
From now on the street will have new signage, given that it will be affected by the pedestrianization of the town square on weekends, holidays and eve of holidays, being only allowed access to fords during this period.
