The favorite Jesús Gomar, was the winner of I Aquathlon of Dénia. Spain champion Triathlon fulfilled the role of heavy favorite and was the best. The second place went to Emilio Aguayo, one of the athletes who participated in the test. Both were able to control the test, although Aguayo came third in the sea and knew how to recover in the swim.
In the last segment of the trial, Jesús Gomar set a very high pace in the run and let his partner. His final time was 31: 49, 1 to: 12 came Emilio Aguayo. The third place went to the young cadet John Booth with a record of 34: 01.
Women was won by Ksenia Levkoska with a time of 35: 17, was sixth in the overall standings. In the first segment he had the Dianense María Fornés his closest rival, in fact they went together to the sea. In the swim he gained a great advantage he held until the end.
The second place went to Nieves De Antonio that went into goal with a time of 39: 38. The third was the Dianense classified María Fornés who made a mark 39: 47.
Of note is the large organization headed by Edu Pla and his team that controlled all the evidence and knew at all times give participants the treatment they deserved. Proof that despite being debutante in the city gathered more than 100 participants.
