The Generalitat Valenciana recently announced its commitment to the incineration of waste by an upcoming collapse of the containers, but from the Department of Public Infrastructure refused to disclose the names of the places where these incinerating plants in the Region would be installed.
After this refusal, the councilman Josep Crespo, on behalf of your group Compromís, has demanded the mayor d Dénia to explain if Dénia will be one of the places chosen for that purpose. According to Crespo, this incineration plant can affect, and much of the population.
"Citizens have the right to know where the incinerator plants will be located, so we ask the mayor to inform herself of the situation and make public if a plant of this type will be located in Dénia and where it would be placed"Crespo says.
And, according to the nationalist ruler, the incineration of waste is the most unsustainable and dangerous method of treating waste because it does not eliminate it, it only transfers and disperses it, releasing new pollutants into the atmosphere that are much more polluting than departure.
