World Blood Donor Day was celebrated in HLA San Carlos Exp. The solidarity and generosity of the volunteers ended with a total of 108 donations, thus becoming the hospital center of the HLA group that more donations got in the marathon Dona Sangre with Mucho Gusto.
Throughout the day, the HLA facilities San Carlos Office Welcomed the donors who were encouraged to participate in this initiative, and received in return a sandwich created by the prestigious chef Pepe Rodríguez composed of arugula, fresh cheese, Cantabrian anchovies and tomato.
The act also had the support of municipal, provincial and autonomous entities. All of them agreed to praise the initiative of the HLA group, which was held in four other centers that the group has in the country. The total number of blood bags was 217 with which they can be saved or help improve the lives of up to 651 people. The HLA hospital San Carlos has obtained 108 volunteers to donate, in HLA La Vega have been attended 45 people of which 33 have been able to donate blood. In the HLA Moncloa University have donated 27 people and 4 have been excluded due to adverse symptoms. In the HLA Granadino, Hospital Inmaculada, 31 are people who have contributed their grain of sand and in HLA Los Naranjos 22 people have been interested and 18 have had the possibility to donate with the commitment of two people to donate bone marrow.
