A year and a half after its start, the refurbishment of the building of the former fishermen's market, which will become the Museum of the Sea and a new space for holding talks and conferences, have been completed.
This Tuesday, December 18, is scheduled to visit the new space of the Councilor for Housing, Public Works and Vertebration of the Territory, María José Salvador. The mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, and members of the municipal corporation will accompany you on the tour of the remodeled facilities.
The works began in June of 2017. After an investment of 991.403 euros, from the Productive Investment Plan of the Generalitat Valenciana (formerly the Plan Confianza), the works have been extended for a year and a half and finally it is now inaugurated.
I hope you take advantage of this million euros that has cost to recover a building that has no aesthetic or historical value. The opportunity to make a unique building has been lost and not that drawer they have made.
