Unfortunately, early this morning, the sea has once again claimed the life of a fisherman off the Dianense coast.
It is about a man who was fishing in a boat a mile from the coast, which around 07:30 in the morning rushed into the sea, although for the moment it has not transpired exactly what happened.
When the accident occurred, 112 was alerted, which quickly mobilized an operation to find the man who was already dead despite multiple attempts by his partner and other boats to extract him from the water. Maritime Rescue, which has been commissioned to rescue the man, have been unable to do anything to revive him. According to sources that this media has been able to access, the victim had a tracheostomy made that would have caused her drowning when water entered the hole.
His body has been transferred with an inflatable boat to the Real Club Náutico de Dénia, taking over the Civil Guard to study what has happened.
