Success for the athletes of the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club in the Alevín Provincial Championship

The youngest athletes belonging to the Municipal School of Athletics and the Athletics Club Baleària Diànium, come to compete with an enormous success in the Provincial Championship Alevín that took place on the Alicante track.

In this event the dianenses won a total of 9 medals and managed to improve 12 personal brands, giving the case that all of them lowered their records. They managed to climb to the top of the podium, Manuela Garcia in the discus throw, where she was the best with a discus throwing 16,30 meters. This same athlete was second in the shot put contest, with a shot of 6,99 meters.

Saúl Delgado, was first in the long jump with a jump of 4,43 meters. In addition, it added a third place in the 200 meters test with an 7.30,58 record.

Several second positions

The dianenses got several second places, like the one achieved by Alberto Berruti, in the test of the 2 Km, where he made a mark of 15.47,01. In the high jump contest he got a third place with a jump of 1,01 meter.

Lucas Aledo was second in the Javelina throw with a shot of 15,25 meters. In the discus throwing he occupied the third place with a mark of 10,79 meters.

Clara Ghiglino took second place in the long jump competition with a mark of 3,78 meters. In the test of the 60 meters was ninth with a time of 9,87.

Good performances without a podium prize

Other athletes were unable to get on the podium but really had some worthy performances to highlight. Didac Molina stroked the podium to be fourth, in the hammer throwing contest, with a better shot of 11,77 meters. In the race of the 60 smooth meters was sixth in his series with a record of 10,86.

Adriana Femenia was another one that was close to the podium, finishing in fourth place in the 1.000 meters race with an 3.46,76 mark. His sister Paula Femenia, was seventh in the 500 meters test with a time of 1,37,41. In high jump he occupied the eighth place with a better jump of 1 meter.

María Berruti, was seventh in the 60 meters hurdles, her time was 11,94, while in the race of the 500 meters, she was ninth with a record of 1.41,72. Aarón Durá, was tenth in the 500 meters with a mark of 1.44,39 and was twelfth in the 60 meters hurdles, his record was 13,67.
