After the municipal elections of this May 26, the City Council of Dénia will change its corporation. For the first time in history a party will hold an absolute majority, PSPV-PSOE de Vicent Grimalt, who has got 12 councilors.
The Socialists will be able to govern alone, although it is true that they remain open to granting delegations to councilors from other parties. Not in vain, during the last three years have they shared government with Compromís and it would not be surprising that some of the councilors of the Valencian formation have a delegation.
The mayor of Dénia told Dénia.com during the election night that "while they are willing to work for Dénia", the rest of the municipal representatives will be welcome.
