The Multiesport-UCMontgó cycling team comes to obtain great results in the different tests in which they participated during the weekend.
At the premiere of Open BTT-XCO Comunitat Valenciana held in the town of Banyeres de Mariola in Alicante, the cyclists, Gloria Medina took the podium as third 30 Master, Ayda Parra, as third in Elite and Raquel Perez as champion of the juvenile category.
For his part, Alejandro Seguí finished ninth in the Master and Roberto Gómez, was ninth in Elite. It was a unique test characterized by snow and abundant mud that demanded the maximum skill of the participants. In the Team Classification, the Dianense team is placed in the third position of the General Classification.
Jordi Gil was the best in the Caudete Cross Duathlon
The young cyclist, Jordi Gil was the first classified of the Duathlon Cross by Caudete in which he did not have an easy test due to the low temperature prevailing. In the first walking segment of 6.000 meters, he scored the best time with 24.43. In the 18 kilometers cyclist segment he returned to mark the best time with 50.48 and ended his victory with another 3.000 meters walking race segment where he scored the best record with 12.42. Jordi Gil's total time was 1: 28.13.
The Multiesport-UCMcontinued more leader in the Volta to the Navy
In the Volta Ciclista La Marina the queen stage was celebrated in the town of Parcent, the components of the Multiesport-UCMontgó not only maintained the leadership in the classification by teams but they strengthened it more, if possible, increasing the difference with their pursuers.
The hardness in the rounds of the low zone already sectioned the colored snake and it was the ascent to the mythical Coll de Rates that completely divided the race. Javier Almela managed to be in the lead squad reaching the finish line with the best.
After the aforementioned squad they managed to finish the race in front positions adding some very valuable points Dani Plaza, Thomas Scheffer and Xexo García.
The negative part of the race was carried out by Pablo Plaza, who suffered an unfortunate fall as he could not avoid the fall of the corridor that preceded him, moments before the ascent to the mountain pass due to which, despite not suffering any damage, he was unable to link with the group.
