The X Donation Blood Marathon of Dénia adds 29 new donors

The record of last year was not broken, but the results have been highly satisfactory after the Dénia X Blood Donation Marathon, held on Thursday at the Social Center facilities.

In total, 238 presented people interested in donating, of which 216 could do it. Of those, 29 people became donors during the marathon.

Mayor, Vicent GrimaltThe Councilor for Health, Cristina Morera, the councilor of the Mayor, Elisabet Cardona and representatives of the entities and collaborating companies, attended the start of the day, verifying that from the first hour the influx was very good and this was the case throughout the day.

It was the tenth edition of this action, organized by the Alicante Transfusion Center and the Dénia City Council with the collaboration of the Department of Health of Dénia, the local assembly of the Red Cross, the Fundació Baleària, Appliances Pineda, Radio Dénia Ser and Canfali Marina Alta.
