This week, the Popular party has announced that it will present an amendment to the general state budget so that an item of 100.000 euros is allocated for the study of the Tren de la Costa.
After 38 years of waiting, last November the Ministry of Development committed to the Generalitat to expedite the project with the signing of the protocol of actions.
Although the total cost of the construction and commissioning of the Tren de la Costa is 1.330 million euros, these 100.000 euros represent for the interested cities a "statement of intents".
