The current mayor of EATIM de Jesús Pobre, Javier Scotto, will not repeat in command of the Mayor's Office after 28M. The publication of candidacies in the BOP this Wednesday confirms this. The socialist will not lead the list of the PSPV on this occasion, staying in third place.
Javier Scotto has held the highest position of the local entity during the last legislature, combining it with the departments he occupies in the Dénia City Council, Citizen Protection, Equality and Diversity, and Public Health. Now, he retires from the first line of Jesús Pobre to leave that space for Juan Ignacio Fornés, new number 1 on the PSPV list.
As Scotto himself has told this newspaper, it is a personal decision that he has made to avoid the exhaustion he feels after three legislatures at the head of his people.
Next Friday the Socialists will announce their candidacy for Jesús Pobre, with the full list, as they did in La Xara and Dénia weeks ago.
