To celebrate Arbor Day, which was commemorated last Friday 31 January, the Department of Environment of the City of Denia has prepared a day of popular plantation of Mediterranean woodland in the Green Street area Veler on Sunday 16 February .
The tree day activities program includes school dune regeneration plantations for 6th grade students that will run until February 19. The good news this year is that the Alicante Provincial Coastal Service has authorized the planting of dune species on the beach. Molins, so the schoolchildren will travel to the mouth of the Alberca river.
The activity will have two parts: the realization of an itinerary along the banks of the River Pool and subsequent planting of dune species.
