Raquel Payá got great results in the Provincial Adapted Sports

The L "Illa" pavilion in Benidorm was the setting for the Adapted Sport Provincial Championship, in which the Raquel Paya School was formed among the participating teams along with members belonging to the Municipal School of Adapted Sports.

The Dianense expedition managed to add five medals, among which the one of Xavier Bañuls that was the first in the Bolos modality. Jorge Femenía was second in the modality of Boccia BC -1-2.

In the modality of swimming things went very well for the Dianense team since Thalia Agila was hung two medals, since it was third in the 25 meters and repeated position in the distance of the 50 meters. His partner Yessica Layes was third in the 25 meters competition.

17 centers in the province of Alicante participated in these provincial championships. More than 300 athletes and more than 250 coaches, monitors and educators. On this day the sports that were held were; basketball with a participation of 11 teams which added 115 athletes.

In the Bowling competition the participants were 89, while in Boccia they were 38, as in swimming, while in the Multisensory Activity the participants were 22.

This conference was organized by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Benidorm City Council and had the technical support of the modules of the La Creueta de Onil and Historian Chabàs de Denia Institutes.
