The PP promises a "baby check" to encourage birth in Dénia

May 09 from 2023 - 12: 22

In the last 20 years, the number of births in Dénia has practically halved. This drop in the birth rate worries the Party, which within its program for the 28M municipalities proposes an action in order to increase these figures: the creation of a baby check.

Pepa Font, candidate for mayor of the PP, together with Carlos Barona, number 7 on the popular list, announced the proposal this Tuesday before the media. "The aid received today is scarce," they point out from the training, which is why they contemplate a contribution in the form of a single payment of €500, complementary to said aid, for each birth or adoption.

The birth rate is suffering in the capital of the Marina Alta a sharp decline, declining up to 20% each decade. With the baby check, the PP wants to help those registered residents who plan to create a family.

The popular ones have stressed that it is a totally acceptable measure and that they present it after having submitted it to study. According to population register data, in Dénia there were some 267 births last year, which this check would mean €133.500 for the municipal coffers, a cost that the PP sees as very reasonable. "We know that many parties sell smoke, but we work with data and we know what it costs."

Political Gentlemen to TOD@S: You read the comments and suggestions that we indicate or criticize your citizens here or other means of communication. They would learn and take note. Really make them look at it, they don't learn.

Mrs. Font, if you want our votes, do not imitate the other parties, do not promise gifts, tell us what you are going to solve or at least get down to work to solve the problems and the infrastructural abandonment of the municipal perimeter where most of the the buildings that belong to the people who live in Denia!

If they know what it costs, they will know that €500 and nothing is the same. In the trash

    And throw away the €130.000

What helps you to some diapers? Yes, but 500 euros are still 10 bills of 50 euros. It is alms for a newborn.

If they know what it costs, they should encourage other measures because they will know that they are euros that could be used better or help indirectly but better
