The Mercat Municipal de Dénia has today carried out its long-awaited draw for Christmas, in which it has given away, among its users, ten gifts ranging from a coffee maker to a 42" television.
More than 25.000 numbers were inside the box where the winners came from, the innocent hands of the children David and Alba, and in the presence of the president of the Association of Municipal Market Vendors and the councilor of commerce, Vicente Chelet.
In addition, throughout the morning, Dénia SER Radio has broadcast a special program from the Mercat, interviews with vendors and end users. Anecdotally it is noteworthy that in the Mercat is the oldest butcher shop in the country, run by Paco Pérez.
