The promised roundabout that will connect Pintor Llorens with Marquesado Avenue will soon see the light of day. The workers are finishing the work at the site to be able to remove the fences and allow vehicles to circulate again, now with greater safety after putting an end to one of the historical black spots in Dénia.
The Urban Planning Department has informed this newspaper that in a few days traffic will return to the Faroleta-Diana neighborhood when the roundabout is finally open to vehicles.
This is one of the most in-demand projects, which went out to tender during the first half of 2023, to finally begin work on November 13. Since then, and although it was expected to end on December 31, almost three months have passed in which the place has been closed to traffic.
The project had a budget of €193.418, which the company Pavasal was in charge of, and next week we will be able to see the results and make use of this new roundabout.
