The Mare Nostrum rescue and salvage group, which has its headquarters in Dénia, is a non-profit organization dedicated to relief and rescue in the beaches. It should be noted that his main activity is dedicated to training dogs to carry out this activity.
Dogs undergo courses they teach themselves and also make exhibits at the marina Marina de Denia. Once trained, these animals are able to save lives on the beaches. In San Pedro del Pinatar, Murcia, it has already set the operation system rescue dogs. Lifeguards on the beaches go along with the animal to help them in an emergency.
The courses, which until now have not been able to be held on the beaches of Dénia, will be held again in October. As Carmen Nacher, president of the group, tells us, "more and more people from more different countries are coming" and pretend that the town hall gives them "finally the permits to make them on a beach in our city, as it touches".
The ultimate goal of the organization is that this practice comes to our city. It has not yet been seen on our beaches, but why not see the best friend of a man saving his life?
