The Consell welcomes the resumption of the hotel business on Monday, but limiting its service abroad

February 22 from 2021 - 12: 52

This week the Generalitat Valenciana will have to decide if the current restrictions are to be extended again to stop the advance of the pandemic or if, on the contrary, the green light is given to the de-escalation so longed for by several sectors very affected by the current measures.

Undoubtedly, one of the branches that is suffering the most from the restrictions derived from the third wave of the coronavirus in the Valencian Community is the hospitality industry. Now, these could have the days numbered, or at least part of them.

The result of the meetings between representatives of the sector and the Consell seems to be to the liking of the hoteliers, since the Generalitat is receptive when it comes to making changes next week. The one with the most ballots is that of the opening of outdoor spaces, although everything will depend on how the coronavirus evolves this week.

In this way, if the curve continued to flatten, we could see the activity resumed on terraces next Monday, as well as in other outdoor events such as outside wedding halls.

Please see sense and let the restaurants and hotels open for business. Life has to go on we cannot stay suspended in this virtual existence.

  2. Mark says:

You have to allow to open a business. The restrictions do not help to delay the virus. The virus mutates and becomes weak. Therefore, it is smaller.
