TDF requested that procedures be simplified for application terraces

25 2012 April - 00: 00

Mari Martínez, councilor of the CDL (former PSD), presented a proposal so that the new ordinance for the occupation of public roads (bar terraces, etc.), is deeply revised to simplify the procedures for its concession.

Currently it is a two months and a total of five reports, and CDL intend to move to a previous communication that enables mounting the terraces in a fortnight in the most common cases.

Similarly requesting tougher sanctions for non-compliance with the ordinance occupancy including immediate withdrawal and interim municipal store all the furniture of the terraces that violate the ordinance, following a complaint from an agent of authority.

I feel very good that procedures should be simplified: but not just for this but for all municipal administrations.

I agree with previous comments: the image given in the main street of the city taken by the terraces of business is regrettable. So we have the quality of tourism we have: as we will have quality tourism if we do not give importance to details. Here the biggest distraction offered to tourists is to sit on a terrace to consume without any alternatives.

Here, our ILTMO. everything happens. From the cleaning of the beaches ... of the schools in barracks ... the trees on the streets ... then ... how are you going to worry about the occupation of the public highway? As JUSTO says, Campos Street turns into a season, into an unpresentable "trough", where every bar, cafeteria or restaurant does whatever it wants, where good taste is conspicuous by its absence, where people, walkers , they see them and they want them to pass between the tables, the parked cars…. where the municipal ordinances in this regard, hang in the toilets, for the entertainment of users ... what a shame!
An example of good taste and care, »el11 ″ in Marques de Campo and the convent square, needs something more, but very pleasant (they have removed the fountain, ????) and Loreto street, with a lot of flavor ...

Last summer fuel culmen especially the emblematic carrer Marques de Campo, where apparently all Valia, seemed a procession where everyone takes what he has and puts it where he comes in wins (pardon romerías)
We can continue talking about other places such as Carrer Loreto, Esplanade Cervantes, Castell d'Olimbroi, Plaza del Raset, Plaza de Benidorm ... etc
That's what we want for our city! so turn off and let's go.
Of which in my opinion this is the Plaza del Convent and Sant Antoni, although everything can be improved ...
You have to ORDER with common sense, if there are four tables of 70 × 70 they are not 14 dining rooms, for example. Depending on the width of the street, the establishment, the security that must exist in an emergency ... for all this and some other things, THE OCCUPATION OF THE PUBLIC ROAD MUST BE ORDERED.
Finally I would like to know why there is no terrace in the new Plaza de la Constitució? He is free from sin or it is known that one of our politicians does not suit him. I invite you to travel and see emblematic squares of Rome. Paris, Valletta… .etc and see what life the tastefully laid terraces give.
