CDL councilor in the municipality of Dénia, Mari Martínez, Has joined the claim of the BLOC as far as the port is concerned. Both groups agree on the need for the management of the same to pass to the city council, as it is currently the Consellería who manages it, staying with the benefits it brings.
Thus, according to the CDL, "Issues such as the reorganization of the maritime front, so many times demanded and that have fallen so far in broken sacks, or the sustainable expansion of it, could be tackled with guarantees."
For the future of the port, Mari Martínez proposes an extension with a dock outside to the north, dedicated to commercial ships, cargo and small cruises, recovering the interior dock for fishing and leisure boats, recovering the traditional look.
