With the scarce presence of about 30 members, the ordinary general assembly of the CD Dénia, in the auditorium of the Municipal House of Culture Denia.
After reading the minutes of the last meeting, the fiscal year of the 2019-20 season was approved, which had been pending in the previous session. The highlight of that year was that, according to the club's accounts, that balance shows, as of July 23, 2020, a deficit of € 32.186. Taking into account that the one that was dragging was 38.000 in one season, the board chaired by Juan Benavente, then in office, reduced the debt by 6.000 euros. Something that did not convince her own Gema Estrela who again showed his disagreement with that balance.
The item of expenses amounted to 104.569 euros, the most outstanding being that referring to payrolls, which was up to 66.885. It should be borne in mind that the season due to the COVID-19 crisis ended in February, where the last expenses of the club were recorded. The income item was 72.383, with the chapter on subsidies being the most relevant, with an amount of 35.286 euros.
There was controversy when one of the members asked about the number of members the club has. The treasurer's response was 220. Then the partner made it clear that the accounts did not fit in that item, since if that was the number of partners the amount, taking into account that the card is 75 euros, 16.500 should have been entered, € and only the balance reflected income of € 9.210. The treasurer explained that this gap was due to the fact that some items had been paid with membership cards and not with money, an explanation that did not convince some.

Toni Lledó, Sports Director, explained his work since he entered the position. He commented that he had spoken with more than 40 players, mostly people from Dénia who are scattered around other teams, to try to sign them. So far only two players have said yes, Panucci and Renzo, to which it is more than likely that a goalkeeper will join, since at the moment, Maxi, has not taken their continuity for granted.
Manuel Esteban and his entire coaching staff were ratified, betting on a short squad where young people who can come from the branch teams have a place.
Lledó stated that his organization chart included the creation of a team to play in the Second Regional, made up of players under the age of 23, and the continuity of the two youth teams, that of the National League under the technical direction of Guillermo Santosjuanes and the youthful “B”, with Derlis Santander as coach. The big news is the creation of a women's team, which is the same team that played as part of the FB Dénia last season.
The members present showed their agreement and even voted in favor of the creation of the 2nd Regional branch team.
Budget approval of 138.000 euros
Finally, the budget for the next season, which amounts to € 138.000, was approached, which was approved by the majority of the members present. The price of the membership card remains at 75 euros, although it continues with the different existing modalities of 150 and 300 euros for VIPS cards. The board studies other offers as a subscriber card for those who have children at the Municipal Soccer School, or are direct relatives of the players of any of the teams that the club has. The price for subscribers will be € 50, taking into account that they will not have the right to be present at the members' meetings.
