As usual in recent years, representatives of the BLOC did not attend the institutional event organized by the town hall to commemorate the 9 d'octubre, but instead celebrated their own tribute in the Jaume I Square, at the foot of the statue that gives Name to the square.
At the ceremony, which was attended by a hundred people, Gerard Fullana, councilman of Xaló, and Josep Crespo, Nationalist councilor in the city of Denia.
Fullana began his intervention analyzing the current situation as if someone returning to the Comunitat after many years was: unemployment, corruption or infrastructures that never arrive would be the things that would most surprise him.
Crespo, meanwhile, advocated a political class that works for and for the people and not to enrich themselves, defending the need for politicians who do not shame citizens.
