Nationalist councilor Josep Crespo has denounced that the environment department of Dénia, led by Juan Carlos SignesIt has proposed to fully intend to disassociate temporarily Coastal Ecology Institute.
The Institute, which is part Dénia from 1997 contributes to the conservation of marine and terrestrial ecosystems, coastal through research, technical work and advice on the natural environment.
Crespo, the government team «carece de sensibilidad ambiental» to justify the cessation of cooperation for economic reasons. «La desvinculación del Instituto de Ecología Lioral sopondrá que Dénia dejará de tener servicios tan atractivos como la red de control costero o los programas de educación ambiental».
