The Councilor for Finance, Vicent Chelet, confirmed what was already suspected: the municipality of Dénia will appeal the ruling for which they are obliged to remove the green point of Al Khalif and restore its initial status.
According to the mayor, from the city council they consider that "it is not in accordance with the law" and that a green area can have these points of waste collection. He also claimed the drastic change and benefits to citizens since the collection point began operating.
Sorry for the residents of Al Khalif, but we live in the Montgo need not only this green dot, if not many more !! This particular area has improved greatly since this collection point was installed. I suggest that the City collect signatures of all residents of the area for a truly democratic decision in the neighborhood 2 km radius: they want to stay or green dot this off? We will see then.
