The central government has approved the second phase of the ICO loan so that the town councils pay their debt to the suppliers that could not be included in the first phase. In the next few weeks, Dénia will pay close to 500.000 outstanding euros, which will pay off its debt to 2011 year suppliers.
The council of finance, Vicente Chelet, informed that this week the financial operation will be approved either in the Government Board or in extraordinary plenary session and that payments will be made within two or three weeks.
