The Department of Sports City Council Dénia congratulated the Real Club Náutico de Dénia for their excellent work and success, both in terms of organization and in sporting terms, obtained in the "VIII Championship of Spain Sea Kayak - Crossing Cabo San Antonio "sporting event held in the waters of Dénia weekend of 7 and 8 September.
This new edition of the championship of Spain, which involved more than 40 clubs, with an approximate number of 300 rowers, has meant for all the fans and for the people a great opportunity to enjoy one of the toughest water sports and spectacular of those practiced in the sea.
Also, from the council has congratulated the athletes representing the Real Club Nautico de Dénia in this competition, for its excellent results, with a total of 5 podium in this championship.
Highlighting especially the results obtained by Juan Carlos Pérez Nadal, champion of Spain K1 modality - veteran category "E"; Paulino Llobell Spanish runner-up K1 - veteran category "A" Traditional and in the K2 modality - veteran category "D"; Juan C. Pérez Nadal and Juan Ramón Moncho Pastor were proclaimed champions of Spain.
Finally, in the juvenile category of this modality, Borja Carrió Pérez and Alejandro Lull Bueno obtained the bronze medal. Congratulations to all of them.
